Post 16 Progression
An increasingly high number of Year 12 pupils choose to return to our well established Sixth Form to study a range of A level and BTEC subjects. The remainder of our Year 12 Leavers progress to a range of Level 2 & 3 courses in South West College and other training organisations. A number of pupils also enrol in Greenmount and Loughry to study a range of Agriculture and Food courses. Training for Success is also an excellent option for pupils who wish to work and learn at the same time.
Post 18 Progression
We are delighted that all Year 14 pupils progress to a range of university courses, college courses and employment opportunities. Pupils are aware of the entry requirements for their chosen pathway and are supported through their individual target setting, to achieve their career goal. They have a sound understanding of the vast array of higher level apprenticeships, employment options and university courses available to them. All pupils are guided through the UCAS process and the HPAT application, where appropriate. Individual careers advice and guidance is always available to support pupils during this important transition year.
